From the therapeutic arsenal of prophylaxis, we can mention the periodic controls and hygiene performed by the dentist, the detection and fluoridation of incipient carious lesions, as well as the sealing of recently erupted teeth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The hygiene session takes place at the beginning of each dental treatment, but also once every 6 months. It includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Ultrasonic descaling involves the removal of tartar from the teeth using an ultrasonic device.<\/p>\n<p>2. Professional brushing is carried out in the office with the help of a special brush and paste, with the aim of removing bacterial plaque from the dental surface as well as removing stains from the teeth, determined by food\/tobacco.<\/p>\n<p>3.
